Fourth Grade Supply and Summer Reading Lists

 

Children will need the following school supplies for the Fourth Grade, 2008-2009:

 

• 5 pocket folders (no side pockets)
• 4 manila file folders
• Clear contact (enough to cover all workbooks)
• 3 boxes of tissues (2 in September, 1 in January)

 

1 pencil case (small, soft) containing:

 

2	Blue erasable pens	1	Ruler (6 inch)
4	Sharpened pencils (#2)	1	School planner *
1	Red pen	1	Pack of sharpened colored pencils
2	Glue sticks	1	School blunt scissor
1	Roll of paper towels

 

Black and white notebooks:

2 – 300 pages (150 sheets)

4 – 100 pages

 

For classroom:

            1 dozen #2 pencils (sharpened) for class

            Loose-leaf paper (package of 150-200 sheets) wide ruled for class

            Girls: baby wipes and 4x6 white index cards

            Boys: construction paper and 3x5 white index cards

 

NO trappers, colored pens, markers, white-out, gadgets or toys allowed.

 

*** Each student is expected to arrive the first day of school with these supplies.

Please be sure to print your child’s name on everything!

 

Important Notes:

1. Every student must know the multiplication table
2. Please purchase extra pens, pencils and glue sticks. Your child will need these supplies on a daily basis from September to June.
3. All text books must be covered with brown paper bags, book covers or book socks. (Book socks will not be sold in school).

 

Please send in $3.00 supply fee for NYS ELA folder, Math folder and homework binder.
