Supply and Reading Lists For Grade 2

 

It is hard to believe that another school year is ending. Hopefully, you will have a restful summer and your child will return refreshed and ready for a great year in Second Grade.

 

There are two books selected as summer reading. Both books should be completed before school begins in September:

 

 

Please Note: Each child must have his/her own personal copy (no library copies), as these books will be used throughout the year.

 

If you have decided to order school supplies through Innisbrook, please note that the following items have not been included and must be purchased separately:

 

 

The supplies to be purchased over the summer and replaced throughout the year are:

Marble notebooks (100 sheets/200 pages)

Homework assignment pad (about 6”x5”, so that children can write easily)

Pack of crayons (24 crayons)

Twelve inch ruler (must have inches and centimeters – without metal edging)

Package of construction paper (96 sheets – no tear out tablets)

Package of wide ruled loose leaf (college ruled is not appropriate)

Large boxes of tissues (1 for September and 1 for January)

Please send in all other supplies as soon as possible, but no later than Monday, September 8, 2008.

 

 

Please write your child’s name on all school items.

 

Please note that the four dollars ($4.00) for supply room books and the five dollars ($5.00) for Scholastic News must be in by Friday, September 5, 2008, at the latest. Kindly send in exact change (no checks). If there are any other charges of purchases necessary, you will be informed in September.

 

It is greatly appreciated that you send in all supplies by the required dates.

 

NOTE: This year books will be covered in September. Please cover all soft cover workbooks with clear contact paper. Textbooks will be covered with brown paper or book sox.
